Origin and History

SGRR Public School Patel Nagar was established in July 1983 by Bhramleen Mahant Shri Indresh Charan Das Ji Maharaj in the heart of the city, with easy accessibility from different parts of the city. It started as a primary school, which has now been transformed into a full fledged senior secondary school and is presently earning good reputation in the society.

The school obtained ‘No objection Certificate’ from state government on 26th November 1993. The school was affiliated to C.B.S.E w.e.f 1st April 1995. The school was upgraded to class 12th on 1st April 1997. The first Batch of AISSCE appeared in the year 1998.Now the school is having extension of CBSE upto March 2013.

Due to continuous pressure from parents and overcrowding of admissions, commerce stream was introduced in class 11th from the session 2006-07. Introduction of humanity for class 11th from the year 2007 is our latest leap towards extension of education. In the year 2007 a new designed school building with ample spacious classrooms, stairs and corridors has been constructed. It has 18 classrooms, a conference room, Principle’s office, Fee office, School kitchen and 3 rooms for SUPW, Sports and Examination control room.
